We Are Back! Glenbow Museums reopens

created: Jul 29, 2020

We are delighted to announce that after 141 days, Glenbow is officially reopening!

We will be open on weekends and holidays, starting on August 1 & 2 (12pm-5pm) as an exclusive preview for Glenbow Members.

We will be open on Heritage Day, Monday, August 3rd for all visitors.

Please note we cannot accept admission coupons or redeem discount offers at this time.

Admission to Glenbow requires a timed ticket. Please purchase or reserve your timed-admission online before you head to the museum. If you arrive without a timed-ticket, you will only be admitted if space is available, or you will need to purchase an online ticket for a future time slot using your mobile device.

CANADA’S FIRST PEOPLES

Complimentary Indigenous Access

Glenbow is entrusted with an extensive collection related to the heritage and ancestry of Canada’s First Peoples. We are pleased to provide complimentary admission to all First Nations, Inuit and Metis people during regular museum hours.

Due to Alberta Health’s physical distancing requirements and the need to limit visitor capacity in our gallery spaces, the maximum group size we can currently accommodate is 6 people or less.

Groups of 3 or more are asked to pre-register by contacting jschmidt@glenbow.org. School groups are not eligible for this program.

Not a member? Find out more about supporting Glenbow and join our community of arts and culture lovers by becoming a Glenbow member, then you can visit Glenbow as often as you like…for free! All visitors must book timed tickets in advance at glenbow.org/ticketing to schedule your visit for a specific timeslot.
